Shelter Coordination
(estimated time: 2-3 hours weekly)
•    Update contacts, determine key shelters
•    Coordinate with groups/adopt-a-shelter
•    Delivery to area shelters and track number of pillowcases delivered
•    Gain input/feedback from Shelter Directors

Volunteer Coordinator (2-3 hours weekly)
•    Oversee work days—provide supplies, training
•    Sewing groups—provide supplies, determine needs
•    Individuals—provide supplies, training
•    Church groups, Adopt-A-Shelter program
•    Respond to requests/inquiries
•    Maintain database of volunteers

Volunteer Center Management
(1 hour weekly)
•    Ensure supplies, materials are ready for production
•    Update priorities on the wipe board
•    Open/close for volunteers
•    Train/demonstrate tasks for volunteers
•    Clean equipment, dust and sweep weekly; maintain safe/secure work spaces
•    Oversee groups/individuals including minors, no minors without adult supervision

Donations Management
(1 hour weekly)
•    Pick-up mail
•    Record donations and send thank you notes
•    Update addresses in database

(1 hour monthly)
•    Fabric
•    Transfers
•    Bibles, books
•    Sewing notions, supplies and materials

Website/Internet Communications (2 hours monthly)
•    Updates
•    Calendars
•    Volunteer sign-up
•    Link to email, phone contacts

Written Communications to Supporters
(1 hour monthly)
•    Newletters, mailings, e-communications
•    Maintain database addresses, emails
•    Representing/speaking about POL to groups

Printed Materials
(update/review quarterly-1 hour)
•    Ensure proper stock of letterhead, brochures, thank you notes and business cards
•    Signage

Financial/Accounting (2 hours monthly)
•    Record donations
•    Payables and record of expenses
•    Banking-- deposits and reconciliation
•    Complete financial reports for board meetings

(1 hour or more weekly)
•    Press Releases
•    Event ideas and planning
•    Coordinate volunteers for events
